Breathwork is a type of therapy that utilizes specific breathing patterns to improve mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. The breathwork that I use during our sessions is called the Conscious Connected Breath. Using full deep breaths, you breathe in and out continuously, through your mouth. You do not hold your breath at any point. The pace of the breathing changes, increasing and decreasing in pace, throughout the session.

This type of breathing is designed to tone down our thinking mind and put us in touch with our wisdom mind. It also drops us into our bodies – where emotions and feelings are stored. With our thinking mind toned down and our wisdom mind and our bodies more front and center, we can start to release the energies of anxiety and stress, depression, insomnia, poor digestion, and trauma. Our state of being and our perspective on life and the world we live in also starts to change as we do this healing work. We can even receive messages about how we’re living our lives or a path forward.

What we do: 

We’ll do a 50-minute open-mouth, conscious connected breathing pattern, accompanied by music, while you are either sitting or lying down. I’ll guide you the entire way. There will be instruction in the beginning and time for sharing afterwards. 

 

Note: If you have cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, glaucoma or detached retinas, brain or abdominal aneurysms, bi-polar, epilepsy, schizophrenia, uncontrolled diabetes or thyroid conditions, or a sensitive pregnancy, please check with your doctor before joining.

​Meditation is a way to calm our busy minds, relax our tense bodies, and become more present in our lives. With guided meditation, you can sit back and allow me to be the driver as you journey into a deep meditative state of being. When we meditate with a group of people, it is more potent than meditating alone. 

​

Benefits of guided meditation: 

  • Feel less stress and anxiety

  • Reduce physical pain

  • Sleep better

  • Experience less anger and negative thinking

  • Increase feelings of well-being

 

Enjoy this time of relaxation and connection with yourself and your community.

What we do:

After a brief check-in, I offer a guided meditation or chant, then we sit in the space we have created, receiving whatever we need for our relaxation and healing.
